Completion Stage

བསྒོམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་རླུང་དབུ་མར་ཞུགས་གནས་ཐིམ་གསུམ་བྱས་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་སློབ་པའི་རྒྱུད་ཀྱི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་དེ། རྫོགས་རིམ་གྱི་མཚན་ཉིད།
ཡིན་པར་པཎ་ཆེན་བློ་བཟང་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་མཚན་གྱི་གསུངས།
Definition by Panchen Losang Chokyi Gyaltsen: A yoga in the continuum of a Learner that arises through the winds entering, abiding, and dissolving into the central channel through the force of meditation.

བསྐྱེད་རིམ་པའི་རྒྱུད་ལ་རླུང་དབུ་མར་ཞུགས་གནས་ཐིམ་གསུམ་བྱས་པ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་ལམ་ཡོད་ཀྱང་། (i.e. དེ་ལས་བྱུང་བའི་དགའ་བཞི།) དེ་ནི་བསྐྱེད་རིམ་མཐར་ཕྱིན་པ་དང་ཕྱིའི་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་དང་སྦྱོར་བའི་བྱུང་བ་ཡིན་གྱི། ལུས་ལ་གནད་དུ་བསྣུན་པའི་ཐབས་ཁྱད་པར་ཅན་བསྒོམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་བྱུང་བ་མིན་པས་རྫོགས་རིམ་དུ་མ་འཕོས།
Although a path arising through the winds entering, abiding, and dissolving into the central channel exists in the continua of those on the generation stage (i.e. the four joys that arise through that), that arises through completion of the generation stage and uniting with an external mudra; it does not arise through the force of meditation, i.e. the special method of penetrating points on the body, and therefore does not become completion stage.

4. Illusory body
5. Clear light
6. Union

Summary of the Six Stages

Definite number and order:

• The accomplishment of the Non-Learner's Union generally explained in HYT is necessarily preceded by the Learner's Union combining the Meaning Clear Light and Pure Illusory Body.
  བླ་མེད་སྤྱི་ནས་བཤད་པའི་མི་སློབ་པའི་ཟུང་འཇུག་འགྲུབ་པ་ལ་ནི།
  དོན་གྱི་འོད་གསལ་དང་དག་པའི་སྒྱུ་མའི་སྐུ་གཉིས་ཚོགས་པའི་སློབ་པའི་ཟུང་འཇུག་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་དགོས་ཤིང་།
  
  
• That is necessarily preceded by the Pure Illusory Body because without being preceded by the Pure Illusory Body such a Union cannot be attained.
  དེ་ལ་ནི་དག་པའི་སྒྱུ་མའི་སྐུ་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་དགོས་ཏེ། དག་པའི་སྒྱུ་མའི་སྐུ་སྔོན་དུ་མ་སོང་བར་དེ་འདྲ་བའི་ཟུང་འཇུག་ཐོབ་མི་རུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
  
  
• The attainment of Mere Union is not necessarily preceded by the Pure Illusory Body because the Pure Illusory Body and Ordinary Union are necessarily attained simultaneously.
  ཟུང་འཇུག་ཙམ་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་དག་པའི་སྒྱུ་མའི་སྐུ་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་མི་དགོས་ཏེ། དག་པའི་སྒྱུ་མའི་སྐུ་དང་ཟུང་འཇུག་ཕལ་པ་ཅིག་ཆར་ཐོབ་དགོས་པའི་ཕྱིར།
  
  
• The attainment of the Pure Illusory Body is necessarily preceded by Meaning Clear Light because the Pure Illusory Body arises through the very subtle fundamental wind that is the mount of Meaning Clear Light acting as its substantial cause.
  དག་པའི་སྒྱུ་མའི་སྐུ་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་དོན་གྱི་འོད་གསལ་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་དགོས་ཏེ།
  དག་པའི་སྒྱུ་མའི་སྐུ་ནི་དོན་གྱི་འོད་གསལ་གྱི་བཞོན་པར་གྱུར་པའི་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཕྲ་བའི་གཉུག་རླུང་གིས་ཉེར་ལེན་བྱས་ནས་འབྱུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
  
  
• The attainment of Meaning Clear Light is necessarily preceded by either an accumulation of three countless eons' worth of collections or the Third Stage Illusory Body that can substitute it because without being preceded by either of those two, it is not possible to manifest the Meaning Clear Light that can quickly exhaust the very subtle obscurations that cannot be abandoned by other paths.
  དོན་གྱི་འོད་གསལ་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་བསྐལ་པ་གྲངས་མེད་གསུམ་གྱི་ཚོགས་བསགས་པའམ།
  དེའི་དོད་ཐུབ་པའི་རིམ་པ་གསུམ་པའི་སྒྱུ་ལུས་གང་ཡང་རུང་བ་ཞིག་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་དགོས་ཏེ། དེ་གཉིས་གང་རུང་སྔོན་དུ་མ་སོང་བར་ལམ་གཞན་གྱིས་སྤོང་མི་ནུས་པའི་སྒྲིབ་པ་ཤིན་ཏུ་ཕྲ་བ་མྱུར་དུ་ཟད་པར་བྱེད་པའི་ནུས་པ་དང་ལྡན་པའི་དོན་གྱི་འོད་གསལ་མངོན་དུ་བྱེད་མི་རུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
  
  
• The attainment of the Third Stage Illusory Body is necessarily preceded by Actual Mind Isolation or a completion stage [practice] that can substitute it because without being preceded by the dissolution of all karmic winds into the indestructible drop at the heart exactly in accordance with the stages of death through the force of meditating on such completion stages [practices], the Illusory Body that exactly like the bardo cannot be attained.
  རིམ་པ་གསུམ་པའི་སྒྱུ་ལུས་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་སེམས་དབེན་དངོས་སམ་དེའི་དོད་ཐུབ་པའི་རྫོགས་རིམ་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་དགོས་ཏེ། དེ་འདྲ་བའི་རྫོགས་རིམ་བསྒོམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱིས་ལས་རླུང་ཐམས་ཅད་འཆི་རིམ་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་སྙིང་གའི་མི་ཤིགས་པ་ལ་ཐིམ་པ་སྔོན་དུ་མ་སོང་བར་བར་དོ་ཇི་མ་ཇི་བཞིན་པའི་སྒྱུ་ལུས་ཐོབ་མི་རུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
  
  
• The attainment of Actual Mind Isolation or a completion stage [practice] that is able to substitute it is necessarily preceded Speech Isolation (the branch of vitality exertion called Vajra Recitation) or a completion stage [practice] that can substitute it because without completely releasing the knots at the heard through such a completion stage [practice], the Actual Mind Isolation or a completion stage [practice] that can substitute it cannot arise.
  སེམས་དབེན་དངོས་སམ་དེའི་དོད་ཐུབ་པའི་རྫོགས་རིམ་ཐོབ་པ་ལ་ངག་དབེན་རྡོ་རྗེ་བཟླས་པའི་མིང་གིས་བཏགས་པའི་སྲོག་རྩོལ་གྱི་ཡན་ལག་གམ་དེའི་དོད་ཐུབ་པའི་རྫོགས་རིམ་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་དགོས་ཏེ། དེ་འདྲ་བའི་རྫོགས་རིམ་གྱིས་སྙིང་གའི་རྩ་མདུད་རྫོགས་པར་མགྲོལ་བར་སེམས་དབེན་དངོས་སམ་དེའི་དོད་ཐུབ་པའི་རྫོགས་རིམ་སྐྱེ་མི་རུང་བའི་ཕྱིར།
  
  
• The complete releasing of the knots at the heard through such a yoga in easy stages is necessarily preceded by Actual Body Isolation of a completion stage [practice] of similar type because releasing the knots at the heart is more difficult than the other knots and gathering the winds at other places is easier than gathering the winds at the heart.
  དེ་འདྲ་བའི་རྣལ་འབྱོར་གྱིས་སྙིང་གའི་རྩ་མདུད་རྫོགས་པར་གྲོལ་བ་ལ་སླ་རིམ་བྱས་ན་ལུས་དབེན་དངོས་སམ་དེ་དང་རིགས་འདྲ་བའི་རྫོགས་རིམ་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་དགོས་ཏེ། རྩ་མདུད་གཞན་ལས་སྙིང་གའི་རྩ་མདུད་གྲོལ་དཀའ་བ་དང་། སྙིང་གར་རླུང་སྡུད་པ་ལས་གནས་གཞན་དུ་རླུང་སྡུད་པ་སླ་བའི་ཕྱིར་རོ།
  
  
• The arising of the complete completion stage as such is necessarily preceded by cultivating the coarse and subtle generation stage in four sessions, which definitely ripens the continuum for the complete arising of the completion stage realisations.
  དེ་འདྲ་བའི་རྫོགས་རིམ་ཡོངས་རྫོགས་རྒྱུད་ལ་སྐྱེ་བ་ལ་རྫོགས་རིམ་གྱི་རྟོགས་པ་རྫོགས་པར་སྐྱེ་བའི་རྒྱུད་སྨིན་བྱེད་དུ་འགྲོ་ངེས་ཀྱི་བསྐྱེད་རིམ་ཕྲ་རགས་ཐུན་བཞིར་བསྒོམ་པ་སྔོན་དུ་འགྲོ་དགོས་ཤིང་།
  
  
• That requires fully obtaining a pure empowerment and properly guarding the commitments and vows.
  དེ་ལ་ནི་དབང་རྣམ་དག་རྫོགས་པར་ཐོབ་པ་དང་དམ་ཚིག་དང་སྡོམ་པ་རྣམས་ལེགས་པར་སྲུང་བ་དགོས།
  
  
• A fully qualified vessel for guarding the commitments and vows requires training in the stages of the common path, i.e. the practices of the two bodhicittas together with their branches.
  དམ་སྡོམ་སྲུང་བའི་སྣོད་ཀྱི་མཚན་ཉིད་ཚང་བ་ལ་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཀྱི་སེམས་གཉིས་ཡན་ལག་དང་བཅས་པ་ལ་སྤྱོད་པའི་ལམ་ཐུན་མོང་བའི་རིམ་པ་ལ་བསླབ་དགོས་སོ།

Up a level: Highest Yoga Tantra
