རྟོག་པ་བདུན་པ་ལས། དེ་ནས་སྦྱིན་པ་དམ་ཚིག་མ་ཉམས་པ་དང་། རྣམ་པར་རྟོག་པ་མེད་པ་དང་། དམ་པའི་བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་ཅན་དཔའ་བོ་བླ་མ་ལ་གུས་པ།
དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པའི་བསྟན་པ་ལ་ངེས་པར་འཛིན་པ། རྒྱུད་སྦས་པ། མི་ཁྲོ་བ། སྙིང་རྗེ་དང་ལྡན་པ། བཟླས་པ་དང་བསམ་གཏན་ལ་ཕྱོགས་པ།
རྣམ་པར་སྨིན་པ་ལ་འཛེམ་པ། དེ་ལྟ་བུ་བརྟགས་ལ། དཔལ་རྡོ་རྗེ་འཇིགས་བྱེད་ཆེན་པོའི་རྒྱུད་སྦྱིན་ནོ་ཞེས་དང་།
The Seven Chapters says:
Generous, has not degenerated their samaya, without conceptualisations, respectful towards the Hero Lama (who holds the holy conduct), definitively upholding the teaching of the Tathagata, hiding the tantra, not angry, possessing compassion, dedicated to recitation and concentration, concerned with fruitions; investigate if they are as such and then give the Tantra of the Glorious Vajrabhairava.

སློབ་དཔོན་ཞི་བའི་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱིས།
དད་པས་མི་ལྡོག་པ་དང་། ཤེས་རབ་ཀྱིས་ཐེ་ཚོམ་མི་ཟ་བ་དང་། ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་རྩེ་གཅིག་པ་དང་། སྣོད་མིན་ལ་གསང་བ་གལ་ཆེ་བར་གསུངས་པ་ལྟར་རོ། །
Acharya Śāntijñāna says:
Irreversible due to faith, without doubts due to wisdom, single-pointed concentration, and keeping it secret from non-vessels are important.
