How to request the root and lineage lamas for blessings

རང་གི་སྤྱི་གཙུག་ཏུ་པདྨའི་ལྟེ་བར་ཟླ་ཉིའི་སྟེང་དུ། རྩ་བརྒྱུད་བླ་མ་རྣམས་ཁྲོམ་ཚོོགས་ཀྱི་ཚུལ་དུའམ།
མཐོོ་བརྩེགས་ཀྱི་ཚུལ་དུ་གསལ་བཏབ་ནས་གསོོལ་བ་འདེབས་དགོས་ཤིང་།
Upon a sun and moon at the centre of a lotus on the crown of your head, visualise the root and lineage lamas either in as an assembly or stacked, and make requests.

If done as an assembly དེ་ཡང་ཁྲོམ་ཚོོགས་ཀྱི་ཚུལ་དུ་བྱེད་ན།

རང་གི་སྤྱི་བོོར་པདྨའི་ལྟེ་བར་ཟླ་ཉིའི་སྟེང་དུ། ངོ་བོོ་རང་གི་དྲིན་ཅན་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་ཡིན་པ་ལ། རྣམ་པ་དཔལ་རྡོོ་རྗེ་འཇིགས་བྱེད་ཡུམ་དང་བཅས་པ། དེའི་མཐར་མདུན་ནས་གཡས་བསྐོར་དུ་གྲུབ་ཆེན་ལཱ་ལི་ཏ་ནས་རང་གི་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་མཇལ་དུས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་པ་ཅན་གྱི་བར་གསལ་བཏབ་ནས། ཐམས་ཅད་ཡེ་ཤེས་ཀྱི་སྐུ་ཅན་དྭངས་གསལ་འོོད་ཀྱི་རང་བཞིན་ཅན་དུ་མོོས་ལ། དཔལ་ལྡན་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མ་རིན་པོོ་ཆེ། །ཞེས་སོོགས་གསོོལ་བ་བཏབ་པས། བླ་མ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སྐུའི་ཆ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལས་བདུད་རྩི་འོོད་ཟེར་དང་བཅས་པ་མར་ཕབ་ནས་ལུས་ཀྱི་ཕྱི་ནང་ཐམས་ཅད་བཀྲུས་པས། འགལ་རྐྱེན་སྡིག་སྒྲིབ་ནད་གདོོན་སོོགས་བྱང་ཞིང་། ལེགས་ཚོོགས་ཀྱི་ཡོོན་ཏན་ཐམས་ཅད་རྒྱས་པ་དང་ཁྱད་པར་དུ་འོོག་ནས་འབྱུང་བའི་བསྐྱེད་རྫོོགས་ཀྱི་ལམ་རྣམས་མྱུར་དུ་རྒྱུད་ལ་སྐྱེ་བའི་སྐལ་བ་ཅན་དུ་བྱས་སོོང་སྙམ་དུ་བསམ་མོོ།
At the crown of one's head, on a lotus, atop a moon and sun, is the essence of one's kind root guru, in form the glorious Vajrabhairava with consort. Surrounding him, clockwise from the front, are the great adepts from Lālitavajra up to the form one's root guru appeared in when one last met. All are visualized as embodiments of wisdom, clear, radiant, and of light essence. Then, while supplicating with "Glorious root lama, precious one," the bodies of the lamas shower down nectar and light rays, washing the exterior and interior of the body. This purifies opposing conditions such as negative deeds, obscurations, illnesses, and spirits, and increases all positive qualities. In particular, it is thought that one becomes a fortunate individual capable of swiftly generating the subsequent paths of the generation and completion stages.

If done in a stacked way མཐོོ་བརྩེགས་ཀྱི་ཚུལ་དུ་བྱེད་ན།

རང་གི་སྤྱི་བོོའི་ཐད་དུ་སྟེང་གི་ནམ་མཁར་རྒྱང་རིང་ཙམ་དུ་འཇིགས་བྱེད་ཡུམ་དང་བཅས་པ། དེའི་འོོག་ཏུ་ལཱ་ལི་ཏ་བཛྲ་སོོགས་རང་གི་རྩ་བའི་བླ་མའི་བར་གཅིག་གི་འོོག་ཏུ་གཅིག་བཞུགས་པའི་ཚུལ་དུ་གསལ་བཏབ་ལ། གསོོལ་འདེབས་དང་བདུད་རྩི་འབེབས་སྦྱང་གི་དམིགས་པ་སྔར་ལྟར་བྱའོོ། །
In the space above and slightly distant from your head, visualise a standing Yamantaka, together with his consort. Beneath him, from Lalitavajra down to your own root lama, each figure is seated one below the other. Perform the supplication and visualisation of the descending and purifying of nectar as before.

After the requests, how they dissolve into you གསོོལ་འདེབས་ཀྱི་མཇུག་ཏུ་རང་ལ་ཐིམ་ཚུལ་ནི།

ལུགས་སྔ་མ་ལྟར་ན། མཐའ་བསྐོར་གྱི་བླ་མ་དབུས་ཀྱི་འཇིགས་བྱེད་ཡུམ་དང་བཅས་པ་ལ་ཐིམ་ཞིང་། འཇིགས་བྱེད་ཡུམ་དང་བཅས་པ་རང་ལ་ཐིམ་པར་མོོས།
According to the former approach, the surrounding lamas dissolve into the central Yamantaka with consort, and Yamantaka with consort dissolves into oneself.

ལུགས་ཕྱི་མ་ལྟར་ན། སྟེང་མ་སྟེང་མ་རྣམས་འོོག་མ་འོོག་མ་ལ་ཐིམ་པའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་རང་ལ་ཐིམ་པར་བསམ་མོོ།
According to the latter approach, the upper ones sequentially dissolve into the lower ones and then into oneself.
