Differentiating the three times

ཐོབ་བྱའི་ཆོས་འདས་པ་ལྟ་བུ་རེ་རེ་ལ་དེའི་ཐོབ་པ་འདས་མ་འོངས་ད་ལྟ་བའི་དུས་ཀྱི་ཐོབ་པ་གསུམ་གསུམ་ཡོད་དེ།
For each attained-phenomenon, such as the past, there are three attainments: past, present, and future.

དཔེར་ན། འདས་པའི་སོ་ཐར་གྱི་སྡོམ་པའི་ཐོབ་བྱ་སོ་ཐར་གྱི་སྡོམ་པ་སྔར་སྐྱེས་པ་དང༌། དེ་དང་ལྷན་ཅིག་སྐྱེས་པ་དེ། དེའི་ཕྱིས་བྱུང་བ་གསུམ་ཡོད་པའི་ཕྱིར།
For example, the attained past pratimoksha vows have:

1. Those pratimoksha vows previously produced
2. Those simultaneously produced
3. Those subsequently produced

དང་པོ་ལ། ཁྱུ་མཆོག་ལྟར་སྔོན་ལ་ལྡང་བའི་ཐོབ་པ་ཟེར།
The first is called an attainment that rises first, like a leader.

གཉིས་པ་ལ། ལུས་དང་གྲིབ་མ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཐོབ་པ་ཟེར།
The second is called an attainment like the body and its shadow.

གསུམ་པ་ལ། བ་ཕྱིར་བེའུ་འབྲང་བ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཐོབ་པ་ཟེར།
The third is called an attainment like a calf following the cow.
